Brit-Brit and Nebuchadnezzar
Performed in Music Halls together
She in her sequins and tights
On the trapeze magnificent flights
Nebbie with a wave of his wand POOF
From a top hat a dove to the roof
Sometimes he would saw her in half
The pretence would make them both laugh
From a cabinet she would disappear
Her not coming back was his only fear
He suggested she fly higher and higher
Even through a hoop of fire
When she tried from the audience a gasp
She slipped and lost her grasp
She fell to the ground with a whack
Broke her legs neck and back
Now Brit-Brit and Nebuchadnezzar
Will never again perform together
